Photos from Sellwood to Oaks Bottom Walk

The start of our walk finds us back in Sellwood

Such a pretty church! Julie said that the neighborhood was not happy when the addition was added years ago (we both think it looks okay though).

The start of the paved trail (Oakspark is to the left of the trail)

Believe it or not, this is the back side of the Whilhem Portland Memorial Funeral Home.

Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge (yes, it is alongside the railroad tracks)

A view of the river.

We are now entering the Refuge

So pretty!!!!

We take a quick detour to the Tadpole pond

No Tadpoles today...

This tells us what frogs are good and which are not. The Bullfrog is an unwanted frog, it was last seen eating a duckling....

Another beautiful tree

I love the way the stones frame the path

No reason for this photo except I really liked this car! It made me smile :)

This is the front of the Whilhem Portland Memorial Funeral Home. Very elegant!

View of Oakspark. There was a school there celebrating the day we were walking, you could hear all the kids screaming on the rollercoaster.

Artichokes!!! They do grow here! Think I need to plant some...

This was a really cool stone wall, anyone see the harmonica stuck in it?

How about the tape measure????

I took a picture of this sign for my sister and her family, whose last name is Lambert. Pretty cool to have a street sign with your name on it!
